After writing Broken English (for Trombone & Piano), I started writing this piece, utilising some musical ideas that couldn’t be used on a trombone. This piece is both musically and technically demanding for both cornet/trumpet player and pianist. Rhythmically demanding with a beautiful slow section, Chaos for Cornet is exactly what the title describes…. Chaos for Cornet.
